The world of computers, hardware and software can be baffling especially if you aren't a 'techie geek.'  I have been in IT (and everything it has morphed from) since 1979.  Sometimes I feel like the mechanic in the neighborhood and have probably been asked many of the same questions time and again.  There are so many parts, so many questions most people don't know where to start or the tools that are available to them.  Hopefully I can help out some here and provide some answers to your burning questions.  If I am not answering your question, send it to me and I'll do my best to answer it.
